SUBJECT: Board of Director Election Results Florida Grant Developers Network (FGDN K-12)
Effective July 1st, 2016—The FGDNK-12 Board of Directors, representing school districts across the state of Florida, will begin serving their elected terms of office as follows: Board Officers; Dell Griffin Quary-(Polk) will serve as President, Michelle Robinson (Pinellas) as Secretary, Jodie Certosimo (St. Lucie) as Treasurer and Robin Ward (Brevard) as Immediate Past President. Board of Directors; Mary Helen Arbogast (Palm Beach) and Stephanie Pollard (Broward), will join Geoff Nordhoff (Lake), Melissa Schwab (Manatee), LuAnne Blankenship (Volusia) and Gina Stafford (Heartland Educational Consortium) as Board Members.
These leaders have exceptional grant development expertise and will guide the Network as it connects grant professionals working in the 74 Florida public school districts. The organization hosts two forums a year where experts present best practices, research findings, and professional-level grant development training. Committees from membership are formed to develop white papers of special interest for distribution to legislators, professional associations, superintendents, and state and federal program officials. Elections for open Board of Directors positions begins today and will close on Wednesday – April 20th! Be on the look out for a message from the FGDNK-12 listserv for directions on accessing the ballot and casting your vote! The election results will be announced on April 22nd at the Tallahassee meeting.
